Museum PLTD Apung (Floating Diesel Power Plants Museum), Banda Aceh

PLN’s PLTD Apung (Floating Diesel Power Plant), washed away by tsunami wave on December 26, 2004.¬†With a length of 61 m, 19 m wide, 4.1 m height and weight up to 2,600 ton this huge barge is washed away¬†with a wave speed 300 km/h and stranded up to 5 km inland. Now located at Gampong Punge Blang Cut, Banda Aceh, it become a public museum and tourism object.
